Description: Here is a cloying and annoying commercial for Colgate Toothpaste. From the slightly inappropriate-sounding tagline, "The Clean in your Mouth is Colgate" to the inane lyrics - "and it's nice when your teeth are gettin' strong" and "there's a twinkle in your eye when there's flouride for the teeth..." - there are too many things to find irritating in this one. Ugh.
Also features the famous Colgate "Chalk" test.
And, uh, is that supposed to be the same kid at the end as the beginning but all grown-up or something? Weird. Looks almost like they're wearing the same outfit.
This aired on local Chicago TV on Monday, February 25th, 1980.
