Description: Here is another rare Snipets segment! These would air on Field Communications stations such as WFLD Channel 32 in the 70's and 80's.
This one is a bit fuzzy, but it's the best we have so far. This one also features the older "patchwork" logo of Snipets as well as a different group of kids saying "Snipets!". There is also a voiceover at the end which sounds like George Takei - "Snipets are produced by Field Communications". This voiceover was dropped when the "worms" version took over.
This segment teaches you some principles of skateboarding safety from Jim Barr of the San Francisco Giants - because who knows more about skateboarding than a baseball player?
Produced by Field Communications Corporation.
"Safe Skateboarding is a Lot of Fun"
This aired on local Chicago TV in the second week of April 1980. (1977 Copyright)
