Description: Here's one more example not from Chicago TV but still interesting to show the differences in stations presentations' of The Day After (an ABC Theater telemovie about the effects of a full-scale nuclear attack on the United States).
WLS-TV did not have an on-screen station ID for the entirety of the movie. However, WJZ Channel 13 in Baltimore, Maryland did. I don't have the entire broadcast to see how many there were, but this is at least one example.
This aired on local Baltimore TV Sunday, November 20th 1983.
WDHO Channel 24 - "Nuclear Destruction: Catch It On WDHO!" (On-Screen ID, 1983)
The Science Fiction Film Awards - "Shat Scat" (Part 7, 1978)
WSNS Channel 44 - All Night Movies - "Magical Mystery Tour" (On-Screen IDs, 1980)
ON TV - "He Knows You're Alone" (On-Screen ID, 1981?)
ON TV - "The Hunter" (On-Screen ID, 1981?)
ON TV - "Snowball Express" (On-Screen ID, 1981)
ON TV - "Can't Stop The Music" (On-Screen ID, 1981)
WSNS Channel 44 - FĂștbol (On-Screen Station ID, 1986)
ONTV - "Private Benjamin" (On-Screen ID, 1982?)
