What's a Thunderstrom anyway? Strom Thurmond's superhero alter ego?
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstrom warning for McHenry and Lake Counties in Northern Illinois until 8:30pm. High winds, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain are expected. A severe thunderstrom was reported (detcted by radar) near Walworth Wisc. at 7:00pm. Persons in or near the affected counties should take cover. Stay tuned to Channel 5 for futher reports.
