Here's Part 2 of the Chicago Bulls vs. Washington Bullets game on WGN Channel 9, announced by Jack Fleming and Johnny "Red" Kerr. Includes:

A shot of the players practicing on the court as Jack states that this is being broadcast "with the express authority of the Chicago Bulls and the National Basketball Association" and prohibitions on any use without their consent. He and John speak of the weather and who's at the game before the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's rendition of the National Anthem (and accompanying film as was shown during sign-ons and sign-offs of stations such as WOR Channel 9 in New York) is played.

Then the players from the Bulls are introduced (Mark Landsberger - #54, Reggie Theus - #24, Mickey Johnson - #8, Artis Gilmore - #53 and Wilbur Holland - #12), followed by the players from the Bullets (Tom Henderson - #14, Charlie Johnson - #15, Elvin Hayes - #11, Bob Dandridge - #10 and Wes Unseld - #41) and the officials for the game. Jack mentions that the Bullets lead the Atlantic Division at this point with a 41-19 record, while the Bulls (pre-Michael Jordan) are at the bottom of the Midwest Division with a 23-39 record, albeit with a 3-3 streak under head coach Scotty Robertson.

After the players and officials huddle, the first quarter starts with a score by Unseld; the Bullets lead 6-0 when Artis lands a shot. At the point this clip ends, the Bullets are leading 10-4 when Artis hits the net after missing twice.

NOTE: The scores (and names of players who are making free throws) are set in another early CG system called Vidifont, with two sizes (28 lines high and 18 lines high) based on a font called "CBS News 36" which was designed by Rudi Bass; this typesetting apparently originated from the local station in Washington, DC that aired Bullets games during this period, WDCA Channel 20.

This aired on local Chicago TV on Wednesday, February 28th 1979 during the 7:04pm to 7:13pm timeframe.
