Description: Here's Part 3 of a complete edition of the TV 2 News at 6pm on WBBM Channel 2 with anchor Bob Wallace. Also featuring John Coughlin. Includes:

Bob reports on at least two weather-related deaths in the Chicago area, including 37-year-old John Reid (sp?) who lost control of his car from the slippery roads and crashed into a tree, suffering fatal injuries; and 50-year-old Nathaniel Stephenson (sp?), from overexposure in a snow bank on the South Side

This leads in to John Coughlin's weather report, whose presentation is smoother than on this clip; namely, we actually get to see on the screen the present temperature and the upcoming conditions and temperatures for the next few days in front of a shot of the Chicago skyline and, later, some of the snow and ice

Bob then previews Bruce Roberts' upcoming sports report before the break

Full shot of newsroom (and Bob examining his papers) with super text: "More News ...In a Moment"

Commercial: Mountain Grown Folger's Coffee - with Virginia Christine as Mrs. Olson - "Make Your Next Pot of Coffee Your Best Pot of Coffee" (ending voiceover by Fred Collins?)

Brief video clip of North-South football game with super text: "Next - Bruce Roberts: Sports"

Commercial: Bufferin aspirin - with a demonstration of the difference between plain aspirin and Bufferin for headaches - "Faster to Your Headache, Better for Your Stomach" (voiceover by ??)

Commercial: First Federal Savings of Chicago - "The Saving Place" (same slogan as used by Kmart in those days)

This aired on local Chicago TV on Saturday, January 12th 1974 during the 6pm to 6:30pm timeframe.
