Description: Here's a neat WFLD Channel 32 Afternoon Fun bumper for Mighty Mouse featuring their memorable jingle - "In Chicago, the Kids Choice is - Channel 32!". This came from a studio tape.

Previous to this we had only seen a tiny snippet of this bumper (although it does appear that in this one a different clip of the Mighty Mouse cartoon was used)

Artwork by Cathy Mustari. (That's right - the slightly haunting Afternoon Fun "Sun Face" was created and drawn by Ms. Cathy Mustari, the WFLD Art Director from 1974 until about 1987. She donated the original artwork to me - maybe at some point I will post some pictures - it's pretty awesome to hold the original in your hand for such an iconic image (well, for those of us who grew up watching WFLD). ;-)

Not sure when this first aired exactly but 1981 seems like a good guess.
