Description: Here's an early color commercial (albeit incomplete) for Wrigley's Doublemint Gum, with Tommy and Joy, backed by a full orchestra, singing the famous "Double Your Pleasure" jingle. The tape cuts out midway through this ad.
The "Tommy" would appear to be the late singer and actor Tommy Leonetti (who was a cast member of the series Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. during its first season in 1964-65); can any of our Fuzzy experts advise who "Joy" was?
This aired on local Chicago TV early Friday, March 5th 1965.
