Description: Here's another of the various "odds and ends" that we find - an excerpt from a show called 5's Pride on WMAQ Channel 5, hosted by Norman Mark, which contains previews of new shows to air on the "Peacock Network" starting in the fall of 1979, also containing a commercial break.
Voiceover for all show previews is Casey Kasem.
Includes:
Previews for the shows Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (to air Thursdays at 7pm) and Shirley starring Shirley Jones (to air Fridays at 7pm), with Mr. Mark providing some side info about the respective shows' stars (for example, Buck Rogers star Gil Gerard had previously played Dr. Alan Stewart in The Doctors which just happened to air on - surprise, surprise! - NBC)
