Description: Here's a short excerpt from AM Chicago on WLS Channel 7, in which legendary jazz pianist (and a music figure long associated with the Windy City), Ramsey Lewis, performs a soft ballad entitled "After the Rain," written by James Mack, which he would later perform in a 1988 album with the Philharmonia Orchestra, Classic Encounter, issued on CBS Masterworks FM / MK 42661. Also featuring host Robb Weller. Unfortunately the person who recorded this only saved this bit.
Not sure when this aired exactly, but based on other elements from the tape 1979 is a good bet.
