Description: Here's some surviving clips (other than the recording of the film itself) from the "Prime Time Movie" broadcast of "Song of Bernadette" (1943), starring Jennifer Jones, on WGN Channel 9. Though not an Easter movie it often aired during or close to the holiday. All the commercial breaks were cut so this is what was left of interest.

Includes: (all voiceovers by Carl Greyson)

A mostly complete promo for the movie (I assume this aired shortly before it began)

A mostly complete (he started to cut it out but thought better of it) Happy Easter [Weekend] WGN station ID slide featuring some colorful eggs and a bunny, which also has the older pre-1977 era WGN logo

Mostly complete opening for the WGN Prime Time Movie, again featuring scenes from the promo for the movie

Various bumper excerpts

An on-screen station ID - TELEVISION 9 / WGN - TV Chicago

A short technical difficulties moment, where coming back from a break the movie sound wasn't present since no dialogue could be heard - they put the bumper slide back up while the music plays, but quickly resolve the issue and resume the movie

This aired on local Chicago TV on Friday, April 13th 1979 during the 7:00pm to 10:00pm timeframe.
