Description: Here's the opening for the Late, Late Double Feature - Movie 1 - presentation of "One Desire" [1955] on WFLD Channel 32. (preceded by a bumper promo for an airing of "South Pacific" on Monday, February 14th - voiceover by Jim Barton)
Previously we saw the the graphics for a later version of this movie show.
After the opening graphics (can anyone ID the music?), we switch to a studio where someone is actually hosting! Charles Fuller. What's this? This must have been a syndicated hosting thing, right? I mean even though he mentions Chicagoland sponsors (Royal-Chrysler Plymouth, Furniture Clearance Center, GI Furniture, and Modern Age Furniture) I think he just had to re-do the opening for however many markets he had. I'm not at all convinced this is locally produced. Anyone know for sure?
Unfortunately, tape recording runs out before the opening completes but he was about to go to a pre-movie commercial break.
This aired on local Chicago TV early Sunday, February 13th 1983 at 12 Midnight!

This may or may not be the same Charles Fuller who was based out of Florida; and who co-produced The Royal Guardsmen's 1966 hit "Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron." Other Fuzzyites who'd know more may either confirm or deny this.

His voice sounds very familiar. I think he may have been the VO for some of the early Carson's Ribs commercials.
