Description: Here is an interview and story with Paul McCartney by Pat Collins, from The CBS Morning News with Phyllis George and Bill Kurtis (who would later work again at WBBM Channel 2).
It tells how Paul McCartney turned his fortune made with the Beatles into a financial empire from Copyright ownership. Too bad he gave some advice to Michael Jackson, who wound up outbidding him for Northern Songs (ATV), and gained control of most of the Beatles' catalog. And thus, a Sun Chips commercial with "Good Day Sunshine" and "Revolution" used to peddle sneakers.
Includes at the beginning the end of a Weather Report with Steve Baskerville (who later also worked for WBBM Channel 2).
This aired on local Chicago TV on Tuesday, October 30th 1984.
