Description: Here's another commercial for the Shogun Warriors line of toys by Mattel, this one featuring the mighty and monstrous Godzilla. (the first ad we saw didn't feature him)
My cousin Danny had this Godzilla, and it was pretty awesome, especially the hand-operated fire tongue and the spring-launched fist (was the real Godzilla able to remove his hand at will and launch it at his prey? Somehow I don't recall that.)
Ah, for the days when they had toys for kids that launched stuff that could potentially put your eye out. ;-)
"Is he friend, or foe? You can decide."
This aired on local Chicago TV on Monday, September 11th 1978.
