Here's a rare promo for Son of Svengoolie on one of the Field Communications affiliates - Philadelphia's WKBS Channel 48.

One interesting thing to note - Son of Sven never showed "The Crawling Hand" on the Chicago version, so this tells us that other movies were used at least once. I wonder if he did any movie related gags for this one or if it was just recycled bits from other shows?

Not sure when this aired but 1982 seems likely.

Some parts of this were recycled from bits the original Svengoolie, Jerry G. Bishop did - but Koz probably wrote them for him anyway. :-)

Here's a compilation of all the "bits" that survived from a recording of Son of Svengoolie episode #316 featuring the movie "Evil of Frankenstein". (there wasn't a whole lot so I just decided to put it all in one)

The notable thing about this episode was that there's no Sven - Rich was absent for some reason and so Doug fills in as host.

Anyone know the real name of the song that Doug does a parody of? Is it by Alan Parsons Project?
