Here's a brief, 10-second commercial for Oakbrook Center in the Village of Oak Brook, with a fur coat-wearing lady delivering a long list to Santa of what gifts she wants for Christmas - from such brands as Bonwit Teller, Neiman Marcus, Sears, Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor and Marshall Field's.

This aired on local Chicago TV on Friday, December 18th 1981 during the 4:30pm to 5:30pm timeframe.

Here is a vintage San Francisco Field Communications ID from before they came out with their animated one. I believe this was the original Field ID style. Note the weird electronic music.

Not from Chicago, but still interesting (and pertinent) - here's another example of the animated "Field Communications" ID bumper, this time from KBHK Channel 44 in San Francisco. (Another example, from WLVI Channel 56 in Boston, Massachusetts, can be seen here; both stations were sisters to our own WFLD Channel 32 up to Field Communications' dissolution in 1983.)
