Nelson Brothers (Commercial, 1979)

Here's an older commercial for Nelson Brothers furniture. Same jingle, just arranged differently. Is it me, or do those transition wipes look a little Magikist-esque?

(quality is a little spotty because this was at the very end of a tape before it ran out)

Voiceover by Al Parker.

"Nelson Brothers Loves Me - and They Love You Too!"

This aired on local Chicago TV early Monday, November 5th 1979.

The Lost Snipets - "Meditation On A Bath" (A FuzzyMemories Re-Creation)

I had some additional Snipets segments but they were transferred from 16mm film and did not have the opening and closing on them. So, I did a little editing job and added them in. Not sure when this segment was created but I went with the 1977 classic "patchwork" Snipets logo. Enjoy.

This Snipet was produced by Roy Cox.

Here's a (mostly complete) commercial offer for the "Record Matic" by Picam - an album holder that flips through them automatically so you can find one you're looking for easier.

This was originally from a film transfer so not sure when it aired, but likely the early-mid seventies.

(again, not lost per se, since this one surfaced on YouTube awhile back, but it was recorded from a Miami station and didn't have the proper end bumper. Also, improved quality here)

Girls Clubs of America - "Girls Clubs Are Great!" (PSA, 1973)

Here's a PSA for the Girls Clubs of America, with a female singer/guitarist extolling the virtues of the Girls Clubs, and film footage spotlighting a young gymnast interspersed with clips of one girl looking on as a car engine is being repaired, a stage audition with budding ballerinas, a campfire sing along, and a gathering in a room with a handwritten "DALLAS OR BUST" sign on the wall in one corner.

This was one of many now-iconic PSA's that aired throughout most of the 197...

Here's the first opening titles for WFLD Channel 32's Super Cartoon Sunrise.

This opening (which we previously saw a promo for) spotlights Woody Woodpecker, Tom & Jerry, Popeye, and Fred Flintstone & Friends (a syndicated package of 1970s episodes, not to be confused with the original Flintstones series which was still being run by WGN Channel 9 at this point).
