Here is Part 1 of a (mostly complete) episode of The Dennis Green Show on WCIU Channel 26. Dennis Green was the coach of the Northwestern Wildcats - the college football team of Northwestern University. Co-hosted by Duane Dow - voice of the Wildcats.

Also includes commercials for Old Style beer and WAIT 82 AM throughout the broadcast.

Not sure of the exact date but I believe this is from the Fall of 1982 - can someone find out the exact date?

Here's another Empire Carpets commercial, this one touting a free push-button phone (Ooooh!) for their 25th Aniversary. (So they started in 1959 - Holy Cow).

It sounds like they use a different version of the jingle at the end of this one. Could this be the "classic" version - brought out for the Anniversary? (Sounds very similar to the version that Rich Koz parodied in the Son of Svengoolie sketch, "Vampire Carpets".)

Here's an early commercial (possibly the first?) for Fox Valley Center in Aurora (which had just opened in 1975), featuring an animated fox as he hides behind a tree, snacks at a table and emerges with various items, with an admonition to "just follow the Fox."

Fox Valley Center is now known as just Fox Valley Mall, and was formerly Westfield Fox Valley.
