Here's one more short 10 second spot for the Oak Park Village Mall. Remember this? When they blocked off Lake Street and created an outdoor "mall" much in the way they did with State Street?
This was produced at WFLD Channel 32 during the Kaiser Broadcasting Company days, and was directed by Don Shannon. It was recorded on 6-30-76.
This likely aired on local Chicago TV in July of 1976.
WKBS Channel 48 - Snipets - "Homework First" (1983)

Not from Chicago, but rather from a sister Field station in Philadelphia - WKBS Channel 48 - that was at the time a few weeks away from leaving the air permanently, a victim of the implosion of Field Communications.
This is an installment of Snipets which we're entitling "Homework First." The later animated Snipets open is used with the worms materializing and ending up inside a circle with the title atop them, and a 1974 copyright date is listed; though credited...

Here's a local-themed commercial for the Pontiac Grand Prix, with chauffeur "Roberts" (played by George Womack, who died in 1983 at age 61) driving the car in and around Chicago, and explaining how it looks and drives "like a rich man's car" but doesn't cost like one. Also featuring Dan Henrick as the car's owner. Son of Svengoolie - Assorted Clips Compilation (Part 6)
Here is Part 6 of a compilation of assorted Son of Svengoolie clips. I did not make this compilation - it has been floating around the trading circles for a long time, and this is the best copy I've been able to find. It has some neat clips you will not see anywhere else.
Featuring:
Son of Svengoolie interviews Chicago Sports Broadcasting icon Chet Coppock (incomplete) (with what looks like a strange Svengoolie logo in red at the end - it's hard to read)
...

How many people knew Kaiser/Field affiliate WKBD Channel 50 in Detroit showed NBC Saturday Night (A.K.A. Saturday Night Live) first-run before the NBC affiliate did? Here's a bumper promo for the episode featuring Steve Martin and The Kinks.

Here's another Snipets segment, entitled "The Spooldozer," that aired on WKBS Channel 48 in Philadelphia, PA, within an airing of an episode of The Flintstones. Includes:
