Here is another Station ID in Spanish for WCIU Channel 26 and W55AS Channel 55 in Milwaukee set at the Chicago lakefront.

"This is WCIU-TV, channel 26, Chicago's first UHF TV station, and W55AS, channel 55 in Milwaukee; serving with pride the Spanish speaking community."

Music used in the background is "Sometimes in Winter" by Blood, Sweat & Tears.

Not sure when they used this ID, but 1985 seems a good estimate, based on other material on the tape....

Here's a commercial for McDonald's which starts off on board a ship with Ronald McDonald steering and Hamburglar and Captain Crook as his assistants, veering way off course before righting themselves in front of a nearby McDonald's, and is followed by an offer for a 1978 Ronald McDonald Play-Time Coloring Calendar at participating McDonald's (15 cents plus tax while supplies last), with shots of children coloring various pages.

By request, here's an earworm-inducing commercial for District Furniture and Appliances, with banjo-infused old-timey dixieland-type music in the background and a sale offer on a Sylvania 19" color TV plus a pair of lounge chairs - all for only $379. (Golly gee! Where can you find such an equivalent deal today?)

The jingle is a takeoff on the popular old-time tune, "Waiting For The Robert E. Lee.".

Featuring Monica McGuire, Sonja Castro, Arthur Woodard, Linda Valentino, Joann Annunzio, and James Folby. (the addresses are fake but maybe the names were real?)

Here's a commercial for A&P Food Stores, with a butcher on duty pointing to the right kind of London broil for two women to buy (one with a pretty obvious voice overdub) while on their shopping trip. This scenario was cited as "another reason why you'll do better at A&P."

Here's an earlier commercial for 1st Metropolitan Builders, before they got their handyman spokesman, featuring a daughter and her mother in their newly remodeled kitchen. Same phone number - 282-8600.

Here's a neat story on The Rocky Horror Picture Show musical that aired on PM Magazine Chicago featuring Mike Leiderman.

This is from the master 3/4" tape of the story, so it doesn't have the PM Magazine graphics that were shown on the off-air version.
