Perkins' Fanta-Mals (Commercial #4, 1974?)
Here's kind of a rare oddity - a commercial for a "coloring book/cut-out paper dolls kit" type toy called Fanta-Mals (or Mini-Mals) by Perkins. This was found on an old 3/4" tape and dates to about 1974 or 1975. Does anyone remember these?
Features the Fanta-Mals mascot - "Ralf", the green monster with the pink umbrella.
Again, not sure when or where these aired.

The Lost Snipets - "Spinning Tops" (A FuzzyMemories Re-Creation)

I had some additional Snipets segments but they were transferred from 16mm film and did not have the opening and closing on them. So, I did a little editing job and added them in. This was an early one, notice it's only 30 seconds long as opposed to the usual 1 minute length that most were in later years. I found something cool to add to this - the circa 1975 title for Snipets, during the Kaiser Broadcasting era! Notice it is a little different from the Field era one that took over...

I had some additional Snipets segments but they were transferred from 16mm film and did not have the opening and closing on them. So, I did a little editing job and added them in. This was an early one, circa 1975 (ok it's a minute long but not all of the early ones were short) I found something cool to add to this - the circa 1975 title for Snipets, during the Kaiser Broadcasting era! Notice it is a little different from the Field era one that took over in 1977. Enjoy.
Field Communications - "Old Style Chicago" - A FuzzyMemories Re-Creation (Station ID, 1978)

Here is a (slight) re-creation of the vintage Chicago Field Communications ID (pre-1979) from before they came out with their animated one. I believe this was the original Field ID style. Note the weird electronic music.
I used the original video of the ID from the San Francisco version, which was recorded in 1978, along with the audio from

Here's the (mostly complete) opening for the NBC Saturday Night at the Movies presentation of "KISS Meets the Phantom" (A.K.A., "KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park) on WMAQ Channel 5. They even did a WMAQ on-screen station ID during it. (the recording missed about the first half of the NBC opening though)
If only the rest of the movie was as moderately entertaining as the opening credits.
Voiceover by Fred Collins.

Here's an animated "Season's Greetings" bumper from WSNS Channel 44, starting off with snowflakes falling, and where a pair of trees evolves into the "44" logo.
Directed and produced by Kurt Mendelsohn. Camerawork by Ron Vasser.
Kurt said about the making of this, "Took at least 10 passes to layer it all together. Connie made several vertical boards of snowflakes on black. We recorded Ron's camera slowly tilting up on the first one, irised low, then played i...
The Eight Days of Chanukah - "Super Nosh" with Jack Klugman (1979)

Here's another short piece on one of the aspects of the eight days of Chanukah (or do you say Hanukkah), with actor Jack Klugman (a.k.a. Oscar Madison of the TV series version of The Odd Couple, and also the title character of Quincy, M.E. that was airing on the NBC network at the time of this segment) describing the various foods served during the holidays, including goose stuffed with dumplings; kugel (a pudding containing noodles, cheese and raisins); latkes (potato pancakes)...
