Here's one of the few glimpses yet found of a show that a lot of people remember and have requested footage of - Monster Rally Movie! This aired on WSNS Channel 44 and reportedly had it's own host - a mysterious figure in a creepy costume. Here we get to see another partial commercial bumper from the show - the only type of footage (other than the movie itself) known to exist currently. The movie this night was the very weird 1973 film Lemora: A Child's Tale of the Supernatural.

Here's another (partial) rare Snipets segment! These originally were created by and aired on the Kaiser Broadcasting / Field Communications stations such as WFLD Channel 32, in the 70s and early 80s. Not from Chicago, but close enough for jazz - here's a rarity indeed for this era, the opening for an edition of Nightmare Theater on WMBD Channel 31 in Peoria, IL, hosted by Milton Budd from its 1958 debut into later in the '60's. Here, he is introducing this night's presentation of the 1935 horror film "Werewolf of London."

This was from a 16mm film print saved by a former employee of WMBD-TV.

Here's another cool find - the opening to Mission: Impossible on WFLD Channel 32 from back in the Kaiser Broadcasting days! Includes an almost complete station ID at the beginning (voiceover by Bud Kelly) that features a black and red color scheme - different than the black and blue one we saw on another WFLD Kaiser ID.
