Here's a segment from Screaming Yellow Theater - the original Svengoolie, which aired on WFLD Channel 32 from 1970-1973. Svengoolie was played by Jerry G. Bishop.
This Break #6 from an unknown episode number features a Svengoolie "public service" - eyeball calisthenics to help you stay awake!
You also get to see one of the rare times that Svengoolie appears without wearing his sunglasses.
I'm thinking that "SYT Theater #1" as the clapboard person s...
Son of Svengoolie - Assorted Clips Compilation (Part 9)
This was on the same tape as the other bits, so I am calling it part 9 from a compilation of assorted Son of Svengoolie clips. I did not make this compilation - it has been floating around the trading circles for a long time, and this is the best copy I've been able to find. It has some neat clips you will not see anywhere else.
Featuring:
What looks like an Entertainment Tonight (from Friday the 13th of - 1983, 1984?) report on local horror hosts from around th...

Here's a segment from Screaming Yellow Theater - the original Svengoolie, which aired on WFLD Channel 32 from 1970-1973. Svengoolie was played by Jerry G. Bishop.
With no clapboard segments, we can only guess that this was Break #3 (from "Show #5") - although on these master tapes sometimes they didn't save all of the breaks, so this could be Break #4 or Break #5 for all we know. This one features "Svengoolie Song Time" with Sven doing a parody of "You Don't Mess Around With ...

Here's a segment from Screaming Yellow Theater - the original Svengoolie, which aired on WFLD Channel 32 from 1970-1973. Svengoolie was played by Jerry G. Bishop.
With no clapboard segments, we can only guess that this was Break #2 (from "Show #5") - although on these master tapes sometimes they didn't save all of the breaks, so this could be Break #3 or Break #4 for all we know. This one again features comedian Mort Sahl sitting down and making some humorous topical comments...
Screaming Yellow Theater (Svengoolie) - "Larry Lujack" - Bedtime Quotation (Closing, 1973)

Here's another segment from Screaming Yellow Theater - the original Svengoolie, which aired on WFLD Channel 32 from 1970-1973. Svengoolie was played by Jerry G. Bishop. By this point, if the clapboard is of any indication, the SYT title had been eschewed in favor of Svengoolie.
This closing segment is from Show #61 (according to the clapboard), with guest Larry "Superjock" Lujack. The recording date was April 11th 1973.
In this segm...

Here's a partial (incomplete) record offer commercial for A Country Style Christmas (coming in about less than halfway through), available from Vista Marketing (which also brought you this famed commercial).

How do you make a name like WD-40 catchy? Just repeat it a bunch of times very fast.
"What do you have that sticks or squeaks?"
This aired on local Detroit TV on Thursday, April 7th 1977 (not Chicago TV, but still cool!)
