This version of the graphics was used for many years on WGN Channel 9 going back well into the seventies.

Not sure what the ending music is - anyone know?

Here's a commercial for a neat toy by Kenner called Trailtracker - where a little battery-operated bus would file a path drawn by a crayon. I remember this toy - it's still pretty neat today. Anyone know how it worked?

Another hard-to-find one bites the dust! Here's the opening for The Late Movie on WGN Channel 9 presenting "Three Faces West". This is the long-running opening which used unique "kaleidoscope" artwork and a soundtrack of "Take Five" by Dave Brubek. This opening was used for many years throughout the 1970's.

Also includes a "Last Farewell" Station ID at the beginning (Annouced by Jerry Golden) and the first commercial spot before the movie began - Bert Weinman - Your TV Ford ...

Bert Weinman - Your TV Ford Man - at 3535 N. Ashland Avenue. (Although if Bert Weinman is supposedly my *TV* Ford Man, how come we never see any commercials with him in them? We always see Linn Burton. Was Linn Burton a salesman that worked at Bert Weinman's? I wonder how many people mistook Linn Burton for Bert Weinman?)
