WPWR Channel 50 - "Off The Air Testing" (1990?)

Here's something probably not very interesting unless you like color bars and static - found this at the end of a tape long after a movie had finished and the station was off the air for the night - looks like they were doing some sort of testing - picture goes from a strange color bars with a black square in the middle, to static, then a Station ID slide, then more static and then the color bars again. This went on for a long time but this is the most exciting 6 minutes of it. ;-)

WFLD Channel 32 - "Oh Jeez - Look At The Time..." (Sign-Off, 1988)

Here is a really brief station sign-off from WFLD Channel 32. We see the ending of a Ma & Pa Kettle movie (Ma & Pa Kettle at Home, based on the cast), Latenight 32 ending (with the circa 1984 Metromedia-era logo), the Fox 32 logo animation, and a quick cut to color bars with date and time. No national anthem or anything - must have been too late. zzzzzzz

WREX Channel 13 - "The Circus" (Take 2, 1969)

Here's another take of an (evidently lipsynced) performance from a band called "The Circus" - recorded at WREX Channel 13 in Rockford, IL. (Not sure if this ever ran on or was intended to run on WCIU Channel 26 or not.)

This came from the other Quad tape that I found in Jack Mulqueen's basement recently. (Recorded in low band, according to the slate at the opening of this clip - as accompanied by an 800 Hz tone).

I was hoping this tape might have contained an...

Son Of Svengoolie - "I Want A New Doug" (1984)

Here's a segment from Son of Sven - the song "I Want a New Doug". (parody of "I Want a New Drug" by Huey Lewis & the News)

Not sure what episode this was originally from but the song "I Want a New Drug" was released as a single around April of 1984, so it would likely have to be after that. This song sketch was also featured in Sven's 300th Show Retrospective.

(beginning cut-off slightly)
