WFLD Channel 32 - Lunchtime Fun (Ending Excerpt, 1983)
Here is a brief excerpt from the ending for Lunchtime Fun on WFLD Channel 32. You can hear Dr. Don's voiceover and the funky music, which was used for a number of programs/promos on WFLD at the time. He's referencing a show on at 2:30, so based on TV Guides from the time period, this was Casper, which aired at that time in February 1983.
This aired on local Chicago TV Friday, February 11th 1983 @ about 1pm! (right before I Love Lucy began)

Store clerk 'Charlie' uses a sweeper to bring up the various ways one can win. Anyone 18 or older is eligible; no purchase necessary. Scheduled to end June 30th.

WFLD Channel 32 - "New Style in Two Colors" (Station ID, 1979)
Here's a station ID slide for WFLD Channel 32. While this is the "new style" Field-era logo set in Eremitage, the color scheme (with the channel and TV picture shape in white and call letters and city in red) is right out of station ID slides from the Kaiser Broadcasting era such as at the start of this clip from 1977.

Mr. Steak (Commercial #1, 1975)
Here's a commercial for another long-gone restaurant that had locations in the Chicagoland area - Mister Steak. (no, not Mr. Beef!)
The production slate at the beginning shows that this was produced at WFLD Channel 32, and we see the Kaiser Broadcasting Company logo as well. This was number 7541 (I wonder what the significance of these numbers were exactly?) and was directed by Don Shannon. Record date was 5-19-75.

Jewel - "Generic Brands" (Commercial, 1981)
Here's a commercial for Jewel Food Stores, touting the value of cheaper generic-brand foods in general, and generic-brand dairy products in particular.
I used to love going down the generic aisle in Jewel when I was a kid because it seemed like some kind of Twilight Zone episode in an Orwellian society - hey there's - "DIET COLA" - over here and look it's "CORN TORTILLA CHIPS" over there! It was neat in a weird sort of way. :-)

Here's a commercial for Trix Cereal with the Trix rabbit (voiced by Mort Marshall) disguising himself as a marching band xylophonist to try to finagle the cereal from the kids inside (unsuccessfully, of course), followed by an offer for an easy to make (and fly) Trix Rabbit Air Racer that could be found in the back of specially marked boxes.

Here's a brief commercial for Jet-Dri Waterproofing Service, advising how to "Stop Wet Leaky Basements" (hint: by calling them, either in Chicago, Gary or Waukegan).
