WSNS Channel 44 - Star Spangled Movie - "You're Telling Me!" (On-Screen ID #2, 197?)
Here is something extremely rare - some bumpers and on-screen station ID's during the "Star Spangled Movie" presentation of the W.C. Fields film "You're Telling Me!" on WSNS Channel 44.
It's too bad this person didn't go to the kitchen to make a sandwich - it would have been nice to have a complete bumper or commercial break.
The music during the bumper segments is interesting - also notice they fade it up slowly a good 5 seconds before the bumper begins, while t...

WSNS Channel 44 - everybody's movie - "Holy Matrimony" (Commercial Break, 1976)

Here's something pretty cool and rare - one of the oldest off-air WSNS clips I've ever personally found - a commercial break for the everybody's movie presentation (this was the 70s, hence no need to capitalize) of the 1943 Monty Woolley / Gracie Fields film "Holy Matrimony" on WSNS Channel 44. From what Chris Tufts (Phantom) recalls, this was a short-lived Sunday afternoon movie showcase. Includes:
everybody's movie bumper (anyone know what the music is?)

50 Years Ago Today!!!
Here's a rare radio aircheck from "Chicago's Fine Arts Station," WFMT 98.7 FM, on the morning of the infamous Blizzard of '67. This features Jim Unrath, Marty Robinson (one of the main off-camera announcers, and on-air personalities during pledge drives, for WTTW Channel 11 for many years), and Norm Pellegrini. Includes:
Jim Unrath starting off this clip by signing on the station - and mentioning this was to have been the 211th anni...
