The Lost Snipets - "Spinning Tops" (A FuzzyMemories Re-Creation)

I had some additional Snipets segments but they were transferred from 16mm film and did not have the opening and closing on them. So, I did a little editing job and added them in. This was an early one, notice it's only 30 seconds long as opposed to the usual 1 minute length that most were in later years. I found something cool to add to this - the circa 1975 title for Snipets, during the Kaiser Broadcasting era! Notice it is a little different from the Field era one that took over...

WFLD Channel 32 - Our Kind of Town - "Sculptures" (1977-78?)

Here's a short piece called Our Kind of Town on WFLD Channel 32. This segment spotlights two of the more famous public sculptures in Chicago, the "Chicago Picasso" at Daley Plaza on the Loop and the "Flamingo" outside the Kluczynski Federal Building at Federal Plaza.

A different looking version of the Kaiser-era "32" logo is shown at the end.

Voiceover by Ron Beattie.

This aired on local Chicago TV likely during the 1977-78 season.

WFLD Channel 32 - Brady Bunch Hour - "Grapes" (Bumper, 1977?)

Here's a filmed bumper from WFLD Channel 32 advising that The Brady Bunch Hour will continue, complete with a snippet of the theme music as heard over the closing credits. (This was not a reference to their short-lived 1977 variety hour, but a back-to-back block of episodes from the original 1969-74 series that Channel 32 aired regularly.) The bumper uses a stylized "bunch" of grapes as it's motif.

This features the Kaiser-era "32" logo as used during the period the st...

Here's another small but juicy rarity - another ending credits for an airing of Fernwood 2 Night on WFLD Channel 32 - back in the Kaiser era!

You can hear 32's staff announcer give you a short promo of the upcoming episode of "All That Glitters" (a short-lived Norman Lear series) that was next, as well as a promo for tomorrow night's episode of Fernwood. Lastly, you get to see the old Kaiser-era WFLD logo and another partial ID!

I think the announcer may be 32's...

The Lost Snipets - "PeaScraper" (A FuzzyMemories Re-Creation)

I had some additional Snipets segments but they were transferred from 16mm film and did not have the opening and closing on them. So, I did a little editing job and added them in. This was an early one, circa 1975 (ok it's a minute long but not all of the early ones were short) I found something cool to add to this - the circa 1975 title for Snipets, during the Kaiser Broadcasting era! Notice it is a little different from the Field era one that took over in 1977. Enjoy.

Here's another quick little gem - the ending to Mission: Impossible on WFLD Channel 32 from back in the Kaiser Broadcasting days! Includes:

Voiceover preview for Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman coming up next, by Bud Kelly.

A quick flash of the Kaiser Broadcasting Company ID that no one has seen for 32 years! Too bad it's not complete - you can hear a snippet of some music that they played over it - sounds weird, I wonder what it was? (By the way, the little bit of...
