At the end of the 2" Quad reel with the "Lunch with HoHo" promos, there was this interesting clip of the program "Sunday Scope" on KOCO-TV Channel 5 in Oklahoma City.
Featuring Ben West (Ben K. West - KOCO's Vice President and General Manager at the time) with "Bill" asking the questions in what appears to be a regular "Ask the Manager" segment.
This likely aired on local Oklahoma TV on Sunday, May 23rd 1965.

Here's a vintage commercial for 4-Way Cold Tablets, showing the difference between it and a regular cold capsule in terms of the relief that is offered - 4-Way providing relief for nasal congestion, aches and pains, sluggishness and fever, as opposed to the cold capsule only offering relief for the first-named of these symptoms.
Voiceover by Phil Tonken (longtime staff announcer for WOR Channel 9 in New York).
This aired on local Chicago TV early Friday, March 5t...

Here's a commercial for American Airlines, which starts off with a re-creation of a turn-of-the-century train robbery, then segues from that to the various sights of California including the dolphins of Marineland, San Francisco's Chinatown, night skyline, Mission Hill, cable cars, a pelican at the bay, Big Sur, and the infamous freeways. Ends with a shot of a four-engine Boeing 707 touching down as part of their "Royal Coachman" service.

Wrigley's Doublemint Gum - "Doublemint Time With Tommy & Joy" [Incomplete] (Commercial, 1965)

Here's an early color commercial (albeit incomplete) for Wrigley's Doublemint Gum, with Tommy and Joy, backed by a full orchestra, singing the famous "Double Your Pleasure" jingle. The tape cuts out midway through this ad.
The "Tommy" would appear to be the late singer and actor Tommy Leonetti (who was a cast member of the series Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. during its first season in 1964-65); can any of our Fuzzy experts advise who "Joy" was?
This aired on loca...
KOCO Channel 5 - Lunch With Ho Ho (Promo #2, 1965)
Here is a promo for "Lunch With Ho-Ho" on KOCO-TV Channel 5 in Oklahoma City. This was a children's program featuring HoHo the Clown (played by Ed Birchall) and Pokey the Puppet (played by Bill Howard, the station's long-time stage manager wearing a sock-puppet on his arm).
We can probably assume that this was recorded at the same session as the first promo, i.e., on Wednesday, August 11th 1965. The Director was "Thrash" with Camera by "Rose and Waters".

Not from Chicago, but close enough for jazz - here's a rarity indeed for this era, the opening for an edition of Nightmare Theater on WMBD Channel 31 in Peoria, IL, hosted by Milton Budd from its 1958 debut into later in the '60's. Here, he is introducing this night's presentation of the 1935 horror film "Werewolf of London."
This was from a 16mm film print saved by a former employee of WMBD-TV.
