Son of Svengoolie - Assorted Clips Compilation - "Christmas Stuff" (Part 4)
Here is Part 4 of a compilation of assorted Son of Svengoolie clips. I did not make this compilation - it has been floating around the trading circles for a long time, and this is the best copy I've been able to find. It has some neat clips you will not see anywhere else.
Featuring:
The Day After Christmas Complaint Department (must be from Dec. 1983, since this is a reference to The Day After movie that aired in November of that year and was big news.) (inc...

Here is Part 2a of a long-forgotten Field Communications produced program for kids called Way to Go. This episode (which may infact be the first one) is from 1980.
I am pretty sure this was produced at the Field station KBHK-TV Channel 44 in San Francisco.
This program aired on WFLD Channel 32 in Chicago on Sunday mornings at 9:30am in July of 1981 (Thanks, smctopia!) and may have aired at other times too.
Features:
The Way to Go g...

Here's Part 2 of an NBC Special Report on John Lennon: The Man and his Music, which aired the day after his murder, hosted by Jane Pauley. (who seems to have too smirky an attitude for this) Includes:
Clips of Tom Snyder's 1975 Tomorrow Show interview with Lennon.
(reception is a little ghosty)
This aired on local Chicago TV on Tuesday, December 9th 1980 during the 10:30pm to 11:00pm timeframe.
WCIU Channel 26 - The Warren Freiberg Show (Part 1, 1981)
Here's Part 1 of an episode of The Warren Freiberg Show on WCIU Channel 26. In case you weren't familiar with him, Warren Freiberg had some rather "extreme" and "fringe" opinions. He had a radio show, and you may also remember him turning up in little vignettes on Steve Dahl's "It's Too Early" show from 1983.
This part begins with a partial WCIU-TV Station ID (voiceover by Bill O'Connor) followed by the opening credits (anyone know who does the voiceover?)
Then...
WGN Channel 9 - Garfield Goose And Friends (Break & Ending, 1975)
Here's a first - the first off-air recording of Garfield Goose and Friends that has ever been found (to my knowledge). Considering the program went off the air in 1976, this is not entirely surprising. (Some apparently erroneous TV listings had it showing again for short periods around 1982, but those have never been shown to be accurate)
This recording was ostensibly made for The Morning Movie presentation of "Sorry, Wrong Number" but luckily for us they started tapin...
