Here's an incredible twofer - 1) A live voiceover promo given by Harry Caray and Jimmy Piersall for the infamous Disco Demolition event that took place the following night. Little did they know what was about to occur. They talk about Lorelei and how for some reason WLUP's call letters don't make sense to them.

Here's a second surviving commercial break for the 1973 airing of the 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz" (starring Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley and Bert Lahr) on WMAQ Channel 5. WFLD Channel 32 - Scared Straight! (Part 1, 1979)

Here's Part 1 of the controversial documentary Scared Straight! as aired on WFLD Channel 32. This Academy Award-winning special program, which dealt with a group of juvenile delinquents at a three-hour session with actual convicts serving life imprisonment at Rahway State Prison in New Jersey, was directed by Arnold Shapiro and hosted by Peter Falk. Hallelujah! A new (though relatively tiny) example of Nite-Owl on WFLD Channel 32 has been found! A truly rare find, indeed.
