WFLD Channel 32 - Super Cartoon Sunrise (Promo, 1983)
Here's a promo for the Super Cartoon Sunrise lineup on WFLD Channel 32 - which was:
6:30am - Mighty Mouse
7:00am - Great Space Coaster
7:30am - The Jetsons
8:00am - The Flintstones
8:30am - Popeye
Quality of the clip is poor, but it's the best we have right now. Audio is also hissy, but you can hear the theme song go on pretty long in the background - it's a funky version of "Hail, Hail, the Gang's All Here".

Here is yet another version of the Way to Go! program produced by Field Communications - this one hosted by none other than Doctor Donald D. Rose (Dr. Don!). Here's the end of a commercial break and a bumper for a WGN Channel 9 presentation of "For Whom The Bell Tolls". This was listed as "Special Prime Time Movie" in one newspaper but not sure if that's an official title. Includes:

WFLD Channel 32 - Eight O'Clock Movie - "Stalag 17" (Opening, 1981)
Here is the opening of the Eight O'Clock Movie presentation of "Stalag 17" on WFLD Channel 32. Also includes the pre-emption notice of the Richard Simmons Show at the beginning. (Funny side-note: The "Eight O'Clock Movie" for this night actually began at 7:30pm) Aldi Foods (Partial Commercial, 1980?)
Views: 2708 Here's an incomplete commercial (missing first 10 seconds I believe) for Aldi Foods (we also called it Aldi's) but I include it here because it has some neat shots of Chicago-suburbs bungelow-style houses. Parts of it almost look like it could have been on my block back about 30 years ago.
Great movie. If you haven't seen it - rent it this weekend! :-)
This was the earlier version of the Eight O'Clock Movie graphics - you can see the later version
Featuring actress Margaret Travolta as the wife, and actor Robert J. ("Bob") Jones as the husband.
Notes: Margaret Travolta is the Sister of Actor John Travolta and has appear...

I had two different versions of this recorded by two different people - one was in better quality but the recording stopped a little bit before the other, so I edited the two together here as seamlessly as I could. (a bit noticable due to the differences in quality)

The Day After - "Reagan Impersonator Segment" (1983)
Here is a segment from The Day After on WLS Channel 7 - an ABC Theater telemovie about the effects of a full-scale nuclear attack on the United States. Features someone doing a passable Ronald Reagan impersonation as the President addressing the nation after the nuclear war. This part was changed to a different voiceover for future releases due to complaints. As IMDB.com states:
"When originally televised, the Presidential speech via radio was delivered by a voice acto...
