Finally! Here's the (mostly complete) opening for The All-Electric Magik Lantern Moving Picture Show on WBBM Channel 2. This showcase ran on early Monday mornings starting in September 1971 and lasted until September 27th 1982, replaced (as were the Tuesday through Friday morning airings of The Late Show) by CBS News Nightwatch (predecessor to today's Up to the Minute). Here's a curious early commercial for "The Loop", WLUP FM 98 (97.9) featuring DJ Tom O'Toole. (still a jock at 94.7 WLS FM!)
Historical background courtesy ChicagolandRadioAndMedia.com - "O'Toole was the station's first-ever morning show host and first host heard on-air for the iconic rock station. O'Toole personally selected and played WLUP-FM's first-ever song to be broadcast on the station, "Morning Has Broken" by Cat Stevens. He later shifted to afternoons on The Loop."

Here's another segment from Screaming Yellow Theater - the original Svengoolie, which aired on WFLD Channel 32 from 1970-1973. Svengoolie was played by Jerry G. Bishop. By this point, if the clapboard is of any indication, the SYT title had been eschewed in favor of Svengoolie.
