This is pretty cool - an old movie opening that they may have used a version of on WFLD - one of WKBD's sister stations.

Here's the opening to The Sunday Movie broadcast of "The Mudlark" on WKBD Channel 50 in Detroit. Check out those groovy green graphics. Also includes at the beginning the animated Kaiser Broadcasting ID and a WKBD bumper slide for Father's Day. (voiceover by ??)

Atari Home Computers - Kiosk Videodisc Presentation (Part 2, 1982)

Here's Part 2 of an interesting time capsule - the presentation from a videodisc that ran on an in-store kiosk display to demonstrate the Atari Home Computer. This was around the time of Dragon's Lair and other laserdisc games which made the medium very popular for encorporating with computers.

The label on the laserdisc says "E.R.I.C. POP". I know POP stands for Point of Purchase - not sure about the ERIC part.
