Here is an on-screen station ID during the ON TV presentation of the movie "The Cat and the Canary".

Notice that it's different from other examples that I have accurately dated from 1981. There isn't even any mention of WSNS.

This aired on local Chicago TV on Thursday, May 13th 1982.

WFLD Channel 32 - Son of Svengoolie - "3-D Movie Excerpt & On-Screen ID" (1982)

Here's an excerpt from the Son of Svengoolie presentation of "Revenge of the Creature" in 3-D. This was show #158. (Also includes a WFLD 32 On-screen station ID)

Some have said that this scene was the most effective at conveying 3D. I'd have to agree - the fish swimming by in particular look like they're in the foreground even without the glasses on. :-)

This aired at around 8pm on Thursday, July 29th 1982.

Here's a neat promo for the WLS Channel 7 all-star Eyewitness News team Flynn-Daly-Coleman-Frink-And-Drury. (Fahey Flynn, Joel Daly, John Coleman, Bill Frink, and John Drury)

Featuring Don Ferris (former WSNS and WTTW announcer) as the old-time radio guy in the tux at the beginning.

Directed by the legendary Joe Sedelmaier. (of "Where's the Beef" fame, and countless others)

Not sure what year this is from, but 1973 seems a good estimate.

It's not WFLD unfortunately, but I did find this short bumper promo for the Rochester New York station WHEC Channel 10 airing The Banana Splits weekdays at 4pm.

Not sure when this aired exactly on local Rochester TV but we did narrow it down to June of 1978.
