This showcase ran on early Monday mornings starting in September 1971 and lasted until September 27th 1982, replaced (as were the Tuesday through Friday morning airings of The Late Show) by CBS News Nightwatch (predecessor to today's Up to the Minute). Ok, I couldn't resist doing a little "photoshop job" on the 4:30 Movie logo to make it look like 3:30. ;-) But this is still a significant find - the original opening to the ABC 4:30 Movie in New York (which apparently was exactly the same as the WLS 3:30 Movie here in Chicago, except with the title changed)

Here's a promo for the upcoming 3:30 Movie presentation of the 1961 film "Pocketful of Miracles" starring Glenn Ford and Bette Davis, preserved on 16mm film. This was most likely for the two-part airing to be shown on February 7th and 8th 1974, as the typesetting for the title (set in a font called Frankfurter) was different than that on this 1972 promo.

Here is the mail call segment and the sketch "Leave it to Mole" during Son of Sven episode number 188 where he was showing the film "Black Friday".

Note: The "Leave it to Mole" sketch was originally shown during episode number 84 when he was featuring the movie "The Mole People" (appropriately enough) and first aired on Saturday, February 14th 1981.
