Here's Part 1 of the (mostly complete) 1985 Chicago Emmy Awards broadcast from the Hyatt Regency Chicago Hotel.
This part features a variant on the WBBM Special Presentation graphic, McLean Stevenson as host, and Rex Smith singing "You Take My Breath Away" accompanied by the Dick Marx Orchestra.

Perkins' Fanta-Mals - Ralf - "Production Elements" (1974?)

Here's kind of a rare oddity - an animated production element for a "coloring book/cut-out paper dolls kit" type toy called Fanta-Mals (or Mini-Mals) by Perkins. This was found on an old 3/4" tape and dates to about 1974 or 1975.
Features the Fanta-Mals mascot - "Ralf", the green monster with the pink umbrella (or in this case, red umbrella)
Not sure how or if this was used in a commercial, since it doesn't show up in the other spots.

Here's Part 2 of an interesting "backstage" glimpse at some local TV personalities of yore - raw footage shot at a dinner event "roasting" Tim Weigel. (Roasting Weigel's Weiner?)
