Here's a demo reel for Image Factory, Inc., a New York-based graphics and production firm.

This came from a 3/4" Umatic tape that was kept by Cathy Mustari, art director for WFLD Channel 32 from 1974 to the late '80's, from a time when the station was actively shopping for production houses to handle their graphics for opens/closes, bumpers, promos, etc.

Features programming seen on ABC affiliate WNGE (now WKRN) Channel 2, NBC affiliate WSM (now WSMV) Channel 4, CBS affiliate WTVF Channel 5, and PBS affiliate WDCN (now WNPT) Channel 8, at least one or two as yet unidentified stations, plus cable Channel 6 (public access / public notices).

Not from Chicago, but definitely Chicago related (as we'll get to in a moment) - here's a rarity, transferred directly from a 2" quad videotape, an edition of the 11th Hour News on WPRO Channel 12 in Providence, Rhode Island (which, since 1967, has been known as WPRI-TV; except for the period 1977-1995 when they were affiliated with ABC, the station has otherwise been, and is today, a CBS affiliate).
