WFLD Channel 32 - Sci-Fi Cinema (Promo, 1971)
Here's another extreme rarity - a promo for Sci-Fi Cinema on WFLD Channel 32, which apparently aired at the time on Saturdays at 1pm and 6pm and Sundays at 1pm.
Notice that the color comes on at the end of this promo. This is something I haven't been able to figure out on this really old material. On some of it, if the program was in black and white originally, then the commercial breaks will be in black and white too, except occasionally the color will come on. I really don...

Here is a very brief excerpt of the show "Black's View of the News" on WCIU Channel 26, hosted by Don Cornelius of Soul Train fame.

He is asking people who the most effective and relevant black leader is - to which the caller answers Jesse Jackson - certainly true for the time I would say. You can also see an old WCIU-TV 26 logo placard in the background.
This excerpt was found on a two...

Here's something strange - during the broadcast on WSNS TV-44 of Game 8 of the 1972 Summit Series, they kept changing back to a World Championship Hockey slide - is this Channel 44's way of trying to do an ID or was this a glitch?
This happens all throughout the game it seems, at varying times.

Zayre - "Before You Go Back To School" (Commerical, 1960?)

Here's an animated, really early Zayre spot, in black-and-white no less.
Where? Zayre! Where?
Not sure when this aired but from other evidence seems like very late-fifties to very early-sixties.
