Here's the short version of the McGruff the Crime Dog and Regina Richards "Don't Do Drugs" PSA.

Remember: Users are losers and losers are users.

"Tell 'em to quit - take a bite outta crime!"

I wonder how Regina's career has been lately?

Here's one of the interstitials that WFLD Channel 32 used to run in the early nineties during commercial breaks featuring the talents of Rich Koz - Who's Askin'? In twenty years, these will probably be the Snipets of their time. :-)

Daniel Parker of Oak Park wanted to know if a straw works in outer space. Now he knows.

This aired on local Chicago TV in the Summer of 1990.

WNIB 97.1 - "Mr. A News Report & Show Open" (Aircheck, 1997)

Here's an aircheck from good ol' WNIB Classical 97 - featuring the inimitable "Mr. A" (Alfred Hudgins) - one of the most unique and coolest announcers ever.

We hear the end of "Adventures in Good Music" with Karl Haas followed by a News Report, Weather, and some of the opening music to Mr.A's program, "Blues in the Night". ("Love to See You Smile" by Bobby "Blue" Bland)

This aired on local Chicago radio in April 1997.

WPWR Channel 50 - "Off The Air Testing" (1990?)

Here's something probably not very interesting unless you like color bars and static - found this at the end of a tape long after a movie had finished and the station was off the air for the night - looks like they were doing some sort of testing - picture goes from a strange color bars with a black square in the middle, to static, then a Station ID slide, then more static and then the color bars again. This went on for a long time but this is the most exciting 6 minutes of it. ;-)

WMAQ Channel 5 - Jerry Springer - "Adult Babies" (Part 5, 1992)

Here's Part 5, the last part I have of a (vintage?) Jerry Springer episode on WMAQ Channel 5 dealing with the very delicate (and absorbent) topic of Adult Babies.

Part 5 wraps up the discussion with more questions from the audience. Also includes:

Partial Commercial: Reichert Builders & Brookridge Creek Homes (cut-off)

And, perhaps mercifully, at this point the tape ran out. So we miss Springer's Final Thought or whatever he was doing at the tim...
