Here's a promo for the "Festival of Television" and their first night of special programming on WFLD Channel 32. Here are Chris Tuft's recollections:

"It was a weeknight hour of 1950s sitcoms. Monday (June 19th 1978) was (as noted in the promo) "The Jack Benny Show" (at 10:30pm) and "My Hero" (at 11pm). Here's a station ID for WFLD Channel 32 with "The Choice Is Yours" slogan/jingle, showing two different shots of the Chicago skyline at top and bottom and a young child with a Chicago Cubs hat shown at center (I wonder where the kid with the Cubs hat is today?), before the stack of images turns around to show the new Field-era '32' logo.

Animation was done using the analog Scanimate video process.

Here is a clip of an end bumper for the WFLD Channel 32 Drive-In Movie. Announces the Son of Svengoolie movie "The Eye Creatures" coming up next. This dates to April 1984. With Jim Barton Announcing.

Theme music: "Alone at a Drive-In Movie" from the movie Grease (albeit sped up) - this movie show title and theme were also used in New York by sister-station WNEW (now WNYW) Channel 5.
