Here's a commercial for Dave Cory Ford - 6200 West Touhy Avenue next to the Leaning Tower in Niles - wait a sec, wasn't that King Datsun (Nissan)? Yep, they eventually moved there, but in the earlier days it was Dave Cory Ford I guess.

The spokesman is not "Dave Cory" but an actor - not sure what his name is but I've seen him in another commercial local to Rochester, New York on YouTube.

I used to love going down the generic aisle in Jewel when I was a kid because it seemed like some kind of Twilight Zone episode in an Orwellian society - hey there's - "DIET COLA" - over here and look it's "CORN TORTILLA CHIPS" over there! It was neat in a weird sort of way. :-)
