Here's another Empire Carpets commercial - featuring a pint-sized version of Lynn Hauldren (Empire Carpet Man). The child in this commercial was Jason Kane, who grew up to be a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Physician at Children's Memorial Hospital. Located at 30 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago and 821 Howard Street in Evanston.

Not sure when they used this ID, but 1985 seems a good estimate, based on other material on the tape.
