Here's a special video in honor of Fuzzy's Four Thousandth - a montage of weather-related bumpers from Super Cartoon Sunrise on WFLD Channel 32, which were preserved on 16mm film. Here is Part 1 from another all but forgotten Field Communications special production - The Reluctant Robot. It was produced to get kids interested in Astronomical Science; pulsars, planets, space travel, etc. You can definitely see the influence from Star Wars a couple years earlier. The budget must not have been too great because the whole thing comes off as feeling like an episode of Dr. Who. (not that there's anything *wrong* with that) ;-)
