Son Of Svengoolie - "Star Trek" (1979)
Here's an early segment from Son of Sven - "Star Trek". I don't understand what happened at the end - it's like it got cut off. Was there supposed to be some other joke or a "To Be Continued..." sign? I wonder if this is an unfinished take of the sketch.
Not sure what episode this was from but based on the fact that Star Trek: The Motion Picture came out in 1979, I figure it's an early one.
This aired on local Chicago TV on a Saturday in the latter half of 1979.
WSNS Channel 44 - The 1 O'Clock Movie - "Gulliver's Travels" (Opening, 1979)

Now for some more neat old TV-44 footage!
Here is the opening to The 1 O'Clock Movie presentation of the animated "Gulliver's Travels" on WSNS. It probably starts about 7 seconds late, but it's mostly complete. We can see some scenes of famous stars and movies interspersed with the graphics - ones I can make out are Cary Grant in some movie and Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel from the film The Producers. Star Wars Imperial Troop Transporter by Kenner (Commercial, 1980)

Here's a commercial for the Star Wars Imperial Troop Transport by Kenner. Can fit a Storm Trooper action figure inside (sold separately, of course). Makes all of six sounds including cannon firing, the voice of C3P0 asking where R2D2 is, and R2's response. Notice the reference to a "stun gun" - years before such a term became associated with a real-life weapon used by police.
This airing fell a few months prior to the release of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
