Here is the terrific "Star Tunnel" version of the ABC Movie opening, which began in Fall of 1981. This is the "ABC Movie Special" version, although the same theme and graphics were used for "The ABC Sunday Night Movie".

Here is the older-style ABC Sunday Night Movie opening - the "Star Marquee". This was used for a good portion of the seventies up until the Fall of 1981. (at which point it was replaced with the "Star Tunnel" version, also found here) The movie being shown on this night was "Convoy".

At long last, here is the different version of the opening to Tales of the Unexpected, the creepy British anthology show, when it was syndicated to America in the late-seventies to early eighties. Here is the opening for the WFLD Channel 32 Late Late Double Feature. On this night the movies were Charlie Chaplin in "The Funniest Man in the World" followed by Errol Flynn in "Mara Maru".

The animation seems very reminiscent of PM Magazine's opening.
