Here's a bumper for WGN Channel 9 wishing everyone a "Season's Greetings," with a video animated six-pronged snowflake morphing into a kaleidoscopic "Season's Greetings" seen forwards and backwards, followed by a wreath with Christmas tree lights on a red background and the all-important message - all to the tune of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."

This aired on local Chicago TV on Sunday, December 25th 1977.

Here is something extremely rare - some bumpers and on-screen station ID's during the "Star Spangled Movie" presentation of the W.C. Fields film "You're Telling Me!" on WSNS Channel 44.

It's too bad this person didn't go to the kitchen to make a sandwich - it would have been nice to have a complete bumper or commercial break.

Here are some segments from Eyewitness News on WLS Channel 7 from the night the Cubs clinched the NL East division title with a 4-1 win in Pittsburgh. Featuring Mike Adamle, Tim Weigel, Jim Frey, Dallas Green, Joel Daly at Murphy's Bleachers bar, Cubs fans Dick O'Connor and Larry Wilson, Jay Levine, and Jerry Pritikin, the "Voodoo Man".

Here's another rare Snipets segment! These originally were created by and [primarily] aired on the Kaiser Broadcasting / Field Communications stations such as WFLD Channel 32, in the 1970's and early '80's. However, in a discovery that is sure to change SnipetsHistory forever - this one was discovered on a Betamax recording of a broadcast of the Star Trek episode "The Savage Curtain" on WDCA Channel 20 (Washington, D.C.) from April of 1980!

I had some additional Snipets segments but they were transferred from 16mm film and did not have the opening and closing on them. So, I did a little editing job and added them in. This was an early one, notice it's only 30 seconds long as opposed to the usual 1 minute length that most were in later years. I found something cool to add to this - the circa 1975 title for Snipets, during the Kaiser Broadcasting era! Notice it is a little different from the Field era one that took over...
