WFLD Channel 32 - Brady Bunch Hour - "Grapes" (Bumper, 1977?)
Here's a filmed bumper from WFLD Channel 32 advising that The Brady Bunch Hour will continue, complete with a snippet of the theme music as heard over the closing credits. (This was not a reference to their short-lived 1977 variety hour, but a back-to-back block of episodes from the original 1969-74 series that Channel 32 aired regularly.) The bumper uses a stylized "bunch" of grapes as it's motif.
This features the Kaiser-era "32" logo as used during the period the st...

Here's the opening and first commercial break for the premiere episode of the very short-lived series Delta House, "The Legacy," on WLS Channel 7.
The program was a spin-off of, and produced by the very same people (and studio) as, the 1978 box-office smash "National Lampoon's Animal House," with John Vernon reprising his role as Faber College's Dean Vernon Wormer from the said movie, as well as Stephen Furst as Kent Dorfman; Bruce McGill as Daniel Simpson Day; and James...

WMAQ Channel 5 - Off the Wall (Opening & Break, 1977)
Remember that classic sitcom from 1977 called "Off the Wall"? No? Well neither does anyone else because it only aired once - on May 7th 1977. A failed television pilot.
What do you think the odds are that someone in the Chicagoland area (not connected with the production of the show) recorded the entire show, with the original commercial breaks intact, didn't ever record over the tape, and then saved the tape for 38 years before we got our hands on it? (just to give you some hi...
WSNS Channel 44 - everybody's movie - "Holy Matrimony" (Commercial Break, 1976)
Here's something pretty cool and rare - one of the oldest off-air WSNS clips I've ever personally found - a commercial break for the everybody's movie presentation (this was the 70s, hence no need to capitalize) of the 1943 Monty Woolley / Gracie Fields film "Holy Matrimony" on WSNS Channel 44. From what Chris Tufts (Phantom) recalls, this was a short-lived Sunday afternoon movie showcase. Includes:
everybody's movie bumper (anyone know what the music is?)

WMAQ Channel 5 - NewsCenter5 - "Maury Povich" (Short Promos, 1976/77)
Here are two short promos for the coming arrival of Maury Povich as co-anchor with Ron Hunter of the 4:30pm and 6pm editions of NewsCenter5 on WMAQ Channel 5. The first features Broadway star Carol Channing, the second Senator Hubert H. Humphrey (D-Minnesota), each giving testimonials about what effect Mr. Povich will have on Chicago viewers. (It would be another decade, however, before Maury would have a major effect on the rest of the country.)
These aired on local C...
