Here's another example of vintage TV-44 from 1974 - a slides-only set of promos for Yancy Derringer (a 1958-59 Western starring Jock Mahoney, airing Saturdays at 5pm) and International Detective (a 1959-61 British-made crime drama series starring Art Fleming [yes, the Art Fleming of 1964-75 Jeopardy! fame], airing Sundays at 2:30pm) on WSNS Channel 44.

Here's something pretty rare - an (unfortunately) partial bumper for the Monster Rally Movie - this one being the first glimpse of one that we've seen with the spooky voiceover announcer - "...on 44..." (it doesn't sound like the "host" of Monster Rally Movie, John Dickinson (seen here in the taped opening segment) could it be Don Ferris doing a scary voice?)

Here's a technical-difficulty moment that plagued WZTV Channel 17 in Nashville, Tennessee during the airing of the I Dream of Jeannie episode "Nobody Loves a Fat Astronaut" (originally aired on the NBC network on March 17th 1969) with Barbara Eden as both the title character and her evil sister, Jeannie II.

Here's an on-screen station ID for WSNS Channel 44 during a broadcast of Futbol (Soccer - not sure what match it is - World Cup?). I thought it was interesting that they're using the same station ID as long before the Spanish transition.

This aired on local Chicago TV on Thursday, June 5th 1986.
