Here's a promo for the 10-13-80 airing of the Star-Spangled Movie presentation of the 1966 film "Dimension 5" on WSNS TV-44. Previous to this we saw a few other glimpses of this bumper movie show - maybe it always aired at 3:30pm on weekdays? Could this help definitively date those other clips?

Voiceover by Don Ferris.

This promo aired on local Chicago TV the second we...

Here's the sketch "Sell-Out Radio Network" from Son of Sven episode number 188 where he was showing the film "Black Friday".

This was Break 5, Segment 5.

Those aren't 8 tracks, those are cart tapes spinning on Son of Svengoolie's platter. WHAT is actually AM 1340 in Philadelphia. KWIT is actually FM 90.3 in Sioux City. WAXX is 104.5 FM in Eau Claire. KUDD is 107.9 FM in Roy, Utah. Surprisingly, there is no radio station with the call letters KOLD but they are C...

The transfer of this video clip made possible by your generous donations!

Here's a rare excerpt from WLS Channel 7's Eyewitness News, from back in the days when all reports from out "in the field" came from film, and sometimes were being developed as the newscast was running.

Frank Mathie introduces the "Action Seven" piece, with Geoff Smith reporting about how film stories aired on Eyewitness News are shot; in this instance, one film crew is...

Here's the opening to an episode of Son of Svengoolie that hasn't been seen in close to 24 years! This was number 318 where he was presenting the movie "The Walking Dead".

Apparently there was a Chicago Public Schools strike at the time as he references it in the opening. He also talks about the Godzilla 1985 contest several times in this episode.

This aired on local Chicago TV on Saturday, September 7th 1985.
